Pick a time and a format
In person at your tank, or free over Zoom. You get a confirmation straight away with everything you need to join, or to expect us.

Show us the tank
On video, walk us round with your phone. In person, we look at the system itself - stocking, plumbing, lighting and all.

You get a plan
Clear recommendations in order of priority, so you can act on them yourself or hand the work to us. No obligation either way.
Common questions
Is the video consult really free?
Yes. Book the Zoom option and there is nothing to pay - no card details, no obligation. We would rather you start with the right plan than guess and buy twice.
In person or video - which should I pick?
Video suits planning, stocking advice and anything you can show us on camera. Pick in person when the answer depends on the room, the plumbing, or a build you are scoping out.
What should I have ready?
Your most recent water test results if you have them, your tank size, and a rough list of livestock and equipment. If you have none of that, we will work from what we see.
Who will I be speaking to?
Consultations are run by Apex staff, or by contractors we work with and trust. Either way you are booking through Apex, and we stand behind the advice you are given.
Can you quote a build or a rescape?
Yes. A consult is the usual starting point for custom builds - we scope it properly first, so the quote reflects the real job rather than a guess.
