“Start Your Tank” is a 30-day aquarium startup program by Aquarium Systems, developed with Dr Tim’s Aquatics, intended to help establish biological balance in new freshwater or marine tanks. It consists of 15 single-use vials (unidoses) of 100% natural bacteria, dosed on specified days to seed the aquarium with beneficial nitrifying microbes so that the tank can be safely cycled. The program promises that fish can be added as early as day 2 (with caution and gradual stocking), while guiding the user over a month to reach stable water parameters, reduce algae risk, and build up adequate biological filtration.
