The EHEIM Coarse Filter Pad (Classic Series) serves as the first stage mechanical filtration media within the Classic canister filter lineup. Crafted from porous foam, it traps larger debris and particles while simultaneously providing a colonisation surface for beneficial bacteria after a short run-in period. It is reusable and washable for multiple cycles, but should be replaced after approximately three thorough cleanings to maintain optimal performance. Compatible with various EHEIM Classic models, this pad supports clearer, healthier water by reducing particle load before finer media stages.
