Hanna Instruments Checker Handheld Colorimeter for Ammonia is a professional-grade digital colorimeter designed to deliver fast, accurate, and reliable ammonia measurements in freshwater and marine aquariums. Ammonia is one of the most toxic compounds present in aquarium water and even trace levels can cause serious harm to fish, invertebrates, and corals, making regular and accurate ammonia testing an essential part of any aquarium maintenance and cycling routine. Unlike traditional drop-based test kits that rely on subjective colour interpretation, the Hanna Checker eliminates human error by electronically reading and displaying precise ammonia values in ppm (mg/L), providing laboratory-quality accuracy in a compact handheld device.
