Hanna Instruments Checker Handheld Colorimeter for Magnesium is a professional-grade digital colorimeter designed to deliver fast, accurate, and reliable magnesium measurements in reef and marine aquariums. Magnesium plays a critical role in reef aquariums, working alongside calcium and alkalinity to maintain stable water chemistry, support coral skeletal development, and promote the growth of coralline algae and other reef invertebrates. Unlike traditional drop-based test kits that rely on subjective colour interpretation, the Hanna Checker eliminates human error by electronically reading and displaying precise magnesium values in ppm (mg/L), providing laboratory-quality accuracy in a compact and easy-to-use handheld device. Replacement reagent kits are available separately.
