Maintaining low nitrate levels is critical for the health of sensitive SPS corals and other reef inhabitants, making precise and reliable nitrate testing an essential part of any serious reef aquarium maintenance routine. Unlike traditional drop-based test kits that rely on subjective colour interpretation, the Hanna Checker eliminates human error by electronically reading and displaying precise nitrate values in ppm (mg/L), providing laboratory-quality accuracy in a compact and easy-to-use handheld device. Replacement reagent kits are available separately.
