Hanna Instruments Checker Handheld Colorimeter for Phosphate High Range is a professional-grade digital colorimeter designed to deliver fast, accurate, and reliable phosphate measurements across a broad concentration range in freshwater aquariums, ponds, and aquaculture systems. This high range checker is ideal for detecting and monitoring elevated phosphate levels in systems where nutrient levels may be significantly higher than in a typical reef aquarium, such as heavily stocked freshwater tanks, planted aquariums with high fertiliser dosing, or pond environments. Unlike traditional drop-based test kits that rely on subjective colour interpretation, the Hanna Checker eliminates human error by electronically reading and displaying precise phosphate values in ppm (mg/L), providing laboratory-quality accuracy in a compact handheld device. Replacement reagent kits are available separately.
