Elevated phosphate levels are a leading contributor to nuisance algae outbreaks and can negatively impact coral health in reef aquariums, making regular and accurate phosphate testing an essential part of any aquarium maintenance routine. Unlike traditional drop-based test kits that rely on subjective colour interpretation, the Hanna Checker eliminates human error by electronically reading and displaying precise phosphate values in ppm (mg/L), providing laboratory-quality accuracy in a compact handheld device. Replacement reagent kits are available separately.
