Description
Juwel BioPlus Filter Sponge Fine is a high-quality fine-pored biological filter sponge designed for use in the Juwel Bioflow internal filter system. The fine-pored structure provides an ideal surface area for the colonisation and development of beneficial nitrifying bacteria, supporting effective biological filtration and helping to maintain stable and healthy water chemistry in freshwater aquariums. Working in conjunction with the coarse sponge and other Bioflow filter media, the BioPlus Fine Sponge is a key component of the Bioflow multi-stage filtration system. Easy to remove and replace, the fine sponge should be replaced approximately every nine to twelve months. Available in Medium, Large, and XLarge sizes to suit the full range of Juwel Bioflow filter systems. Note: Never replace all blue filter sponges at the same time to preserve beneficial bacteria colonies.
