Neptune Systems Trident Calibration Solution is a specially formulated reference standard solution designed to ensure the accuracy and precision of the Neptune Systems Trident ACM automated reef aquarium testing system. Pre-mixed to precisely known values for alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium, this calibration solution allows the Trident to calibrate to your specific installation conditions, including sample line head height and reagent batch variations, delivering reliable and accurate parameter readings over time. While the Trident is factory calibrated upon receipt, Neptune Systems recommends performing an on-site calibration after initial setup and whenever a new batch of reagents is introduced to ensure the highest level of measurement accuracy. The calibration process is guided through the Apex Fusion app using the built-in Trident Calibration task and takes approximately 60 to 90 minutes to complete. Please note this solution is single-use only and should be used promptly after opening, as it will not hold its stated values once exposed to air. The same calibration solution is included with every Juwel two-month Trident ACM Reagent Kit and is also available here as a standalone replacement bottle.
