Pleco

Discover pleco fish at Apex Aquatic, popular freshwater catfish known for their distinctive appearance and variety of patterns, colours and sizes. Plecos are fascinating additions to suitable freshwater aquariums, with different species offering unique characteristics for community tanks and specialised setups.

From smaller bristlenose plecos to other popular plecostomus varieties, choose a species suited to your aquarium's size, water conditions and existing tank mates. While some plecos graze on algae, their dietary requirements vary by species and many need supplementary foods to remain healthy.
