Description
The AquaForest AF Air Scrubber is a premium reef aquarium CO₂ scrubber designed to stabilize pH and improve coral growth in saltwater systems. By removing excess carbon dioxide from the air entering your protein skimmer, it prevents harmful pH drops and maintains the optimal 8.0–8.4 range needed for healthy reef environments.
Built from durable, transparent acrylic, the AF Air Scrubber is both practical and stylish. Its innovative base includes three sponges that can be moistened with RO water to extend the life of the CO₂-absorbing media, making maintenance cost-efficient and effective. Dust-trapping sponges at both ends ensure clean airflow, while a color-changing indicator lets you know exactly when to replace the media.
With its quick-twist lid and universal 10 mm/⅜″ hose connector, installation and upkeep are simple. By supporting higher and more stable pH, the AquaForest AF Air Scrubber enhances coral calcification, color vibrancy, and overall reef health.
