The Albino Peppered Corydoras is a beautiful selectively bred colour variant of the classic Peppered Corydoras, prized for its creamy white to pale pink body, brilliant ruby-red eyes, and peaceful personality. While it lacks the dark mottled pattern of the wild form, the Albino Peppered Cory displays a subtle metallic sheen that looks stunning against planted aquariums and dark substrates.
One of the hardiest Corydoras species available, the Albino Peppered Corydoras is an excellent choice for both beginner and experienced aquarists. These social catfish spend their day actively sifting through fine sand in search of food, helping keep the aquarium clean while providing endless entertainment with their playful behaviour.
Albino Peppered Corydoras thrive in mature aquariums with soft sand, driftwood, rocks, and dense planting. They should always be kept in groups of at least six, where they display natural shoaling behaviour and become much more confident. Their peaceful nature makes them ideal companions for Tetras, Rasboras, Rainbowfish, Gouramis, Livebearers, Angelfish, and other non-aggressive community fish.
