Aquaforest Hybrid Pro Salt is a premium reef salt formula that blends chemically pure laboratory-made salts with natural sea salt flakes sourced from the North Atlantic, enriched with probiotic bacteria, vitamins, amino acids, and a full profile of macro and micro trace elements. It is designed to mimic natural seawater conditions while offering enhanced stability of water chemistry, reduction of nitrates and phosphates, and improved coral color intensity and growth. The formula addresses the accelerated consumption of elements like strontium and iodine in closed reef systems, ensuring demanding SPS, LPS, and soft corals get the nutrients they need. Best used by dissolving the salt in RODI/RO water to a salinity of ~33 ppt (1.025 specific gravity), mixing well, and using the prepared saltwater within about three days to preserve its probiotic activity and component integrity.
