Aquaillumination Orbit

The AquaIllumination Orbit Cross-Flow Pump is a submersible in-tank powerhead designed to simulate the tidal flow experienced on ocean reefs. This cross-flow current is effective in lifting excess nutrients from the bottom of the aquarium, aiding in their removal by filtration. The pump is available in two models, Orbit 2 and Orbit 4, catering to different tank sizes and flow requirements. Its circular water movement mimics ocean currents, promoting efficient water turnover and preventing detritus from settling. The pump offers four controllable modes—Constant Speed, Pulse, Random, and Reverse—allowing users to customize flow to suit their aquarium's needs. It integrates with AquaIllumination’s myAI® and Mobius apps for wireless control and programming and can be connected with the MXM module for Apex Fusion control.

The Orbit Cross-Flow Pump is compact, enabling flexible horizontal or vertical placement within the aquarium. The Orbit 2 is suitable for medium to large aquariums, with a maximum power consumption of 45W and dimensions of approximately 8.78" W x 1.5" D x 2.83" H. The Orbit 4 produces twice the flow of the Orbit 2, supporting larger systems with similar power consumption and dimensions of approximately 12.1" W x 1.69" D x 3.15" H. Both models mount on aquariums with glass up to 0.79" thick and include a magnetic mounting system for easy installation.
