A large pre-filter, easily accessible directly under the pump head, allows quick removal of mechanical contamination without disturbing the sensitive biological filter material, significantly extending maintenance intervals and keeping routine servicing quick and hassle-free. A safety hose adapter with easy-to-operate locking device ensures the adapter can only be released when the hose valves are closed, and large safety closure clips provide a tight and secure connection between the pump head and filter canister. The self-priming suction aid makes initial setup and restart after maintenance effortless, while the square canister design offers excellent stability and efficient use of cabinet space.
