The Frosted Green Bubble Tip Anemone is a striking colour morph of the Bubble Tip Anemone, Entacmaea quadricolor. It features vibrant green tentacles with a distinctive frosted or lighter appearance that can create an impressive centrepiece in a mature reef aquarium.

Bubble Tip Anemones are photosynthetic and rely heavily on strong reef lighting, while also benefiting from regular feeding. They can develop characteristic bubble-shaped tips, although the shape of the tentacles can vary considerably depending on lighting, flow, feeding and individual specimens.

This anemone can move around the aquarium until it finds a location with suitable lighting and water flow. It should therefore be given plenty of space away from corals, pumps and overflow openings.

Bubble Tip Anemones can host several species of clownfish and may become a natural focal point of a reef aquarium. They can also reproduce by splitting, producing genetically identical clones.
