The Forest Fire Bubble Tip Anemone is a spectacular colour morph of the Bubble Tip Anemone, prized for its intense combination of vibrant reds, oranges and greens. Its glowing coloration makes it a standout feature in a reef aquarium, particularly under quality reef LED lighting.

Like other Bubble Tip Anemones, Entacmaea quadricolor can form a natural hosting relationship with clownfish. Once established, it can be a relatively hardy anemone, making it a popular choice for experienced reef keepers looking to add movement and colour to their aquarium.

Provide stable water parameters, strong lighting, moderate flow and secure rockwork. Allow plenty of space around the anemone, as it can sting nearby corals and may move while settling.

The Forest Fire morph is valued for its striking combination of fiery red and orange tones with contrasting green coloration.

Does it require strong lighting?

Moderate to high-quality reef lighting is recommended to maintain its health and coloration.

Can it move around the aquarium?

Yes. It may move until it finds a location with suitable lighting, flow and a secure place to attach its foot.

Common Mistakes

Adding it to an immature aquarium

Wait until the aquarium is mature and water parameters are consistently stable.

Not protecting pumps

Use guards on powerheads and other pumps to prevent the anemone from being injured.

Placing it too close to corals

Give it plenty of room because its tentacles can sting neighbouring corals.

Constantly moving it

Allow the anemone to find its preferred position naturally.

Poor water quality

Stable salinity, temperature and overall water quality are important for long-term health.
