What does a Gold Head Sleeper Goby eat?
It naturally feeds by sifting sand and consuming small organisms such as copepods, worms and other tiny crustaceans. In captivity, supplement its natural diet with frozen mysis, brine shrimp and other appropriately sized foods.

Does it need a sand bed?
Yes. A mature sand bed is highly recommended. These gobies spend much of their time sifting through sand, and a healthy population of natural microorganisms can be an important food source.
