A favourite addition to my community aquarium. Absolutely stunning colour & surprisingly peaceful fish. Apex took care to catch me a male & female pair, so hopefully I get some fry. Apparently they are genetically engineered/bred from The German Blue Ram; which I also have in my tank as well as 2 Bolivian Butterfly Rams & an Apistogramma Cacatuoides pair. In my experience, all coexist well with other species including angels, gouramis, tetras, corydoras, provinces, loaches, guppies, rainbow shark & a male betta.
They like to eat a range of foods including grazing on algae wafers.
Love these lights!! Made a huge difference to the colours in my tank!! Fish look so much better. Planing to get some more for my other tank now!!
