Description

Aquaforest Carbon is a premium steam-activated granular carbon designed to purify aquarium water by effectively removing unwanted chemical compounds, discoloration, and turbidity. This high-porosity carbon media ensures improved water clarity and eliminates medication residues and accumulated compounds, promoting a healthier aquatic environment. Unlike traditional phosphorus acid-activated carbons, Aquaforest Carbon is phosphate-free, making it ideal for mixed-reef aquariums and Ultra Low Nutrient Systems (ULNS) with heavily stocked SPS corals. For optimal results, place 100 ml of carbon per 100 liters of water in marine aquariums or per 200 liters in freshwater setups, with a recommended flow rate of 500 l/h. Replace the carbon every 4 weeks to maintain water quality.
