Aquasonic Vertonex

Aquasonic Marine Vertonex is a reef-safe medication formulated to treat white spot disease (Cryptocaryon irritans) in marine aquariums. It combines quinine hydrochloride and malachite green to effectively combat this parasitic infection. Unlike many traditional treatments, Vertonex is safe to use in aquariums containing corals and invertebrates. However, during treatment, corals and anemones may withdraw, and some species, such as Centropyge angels, may be sensitive to the treatment. Bivalves like clams and mussels should be removed from the aquarium during treatment. To maximize results, it is recommended to halve the daily dose and administer it twice daily (morning and night). The typical dosage is 3 mL per 70 liters of aquarium water daily for four days. As with all treatments, ensure proper aeration and avoid using activated carbon in the filtration system during the treatment period.
