The Burnt Sausage Cucumber is a fascinating marine invertebrate valued for its ability to process and recycle organic material within the aquarium substrate. With its elongated, sausage-like body and dark coloration, it adds an unusual and interesting feature to a mature marine aquarium.

This species spends much of its time moving across and through the sand bed, consuming detritus and organic material before passing cleaned substrate behind it. It is best suited to mature aquariums with an established sand bed and plenty of natural food.
