The Galaxy Driftwood Catfish is a rare and fascinating freshwater species, prized for its striking pattern of creamy white spots scattered across a rich chocolate-brown body. Native to the Amazon River Basin in South America, this nocturnal catfish spends much of its time hiding amongst driftwood, tangled roots, and leaf litter, emerging at dusk to forage for food.

Despite their secretive nature, Galaxy Driftwood Catfish are peaceful and make excellent additions to community aquariums with similarly sized, non-aggressive fish.
