Red Tiger Shrimp are a beautiful freshwater Caridina variety recognised for their vibrant red colouration and distinctive tiger-style striping. Their contrasting pattern makes them an eye-catching addition to planted aquariums and dedicated shrimp tanks.
These peaceful shrimp spend much of their time grazing on biofilm, algae and microorganisms found on plants, rocks and aquarium surfaces. They are best suited to mature, stable aquariums with soft, slightly acidic water.
Red Tiger Shrimp can breed in freshwater when provided with stable parameters, good-quality food and plenty of natural grazing surfaces.
