The Redfin Kadango Cichlid is one of the most spectacular Haplochromine cichlids from Lake Malawi, admired for its vibrant metallic blue body and brilliant crimson-red fins. Collected from the Kadango region of Lake Malawi, this stunning geographical variant of Copadichromis borleyi is a favourite among African cichlid enthusiasts thanks to its striking colours and relatively peaceful temperament.

Mature males develop an intense electric blue head and body contrasted by vivid red to orange dorsal, caudal, and anal fins, making them a true showpiece in any African cichlid aquarium.
